The Willen Hospice

MK Half are proud to support the willen Hospice.

Established 1981 - 25 Years of Caring for the Community.

Willen Hospice provides specialist palliative care for the people of our local community who are suffering from cancer and other life threatening limiting illnesses, and who require symptom control, supportive and terminal care.
We accept people from the age of 18 years old and our team of caring proffesionals and volunteers offer support to patients and their families every day of the year, 24 hours a day.

These services are free of charge to our patients and their families; however, the running costs of Willen Hospice are:

2.7 million per year - £7,500 per day, £5.17 per minute!

We recieve only 27% funding from the NHS.
